New Year countdown, in Gold Coast time.

This is how long until midnight on New Year’s Eve, Gold Coast time. When it hits zero, the counter rolls over and so does the year.

Queensland skips daylight saving, so Sydney rings in the new year an hour before the Gold Coast does. You get to watch it on TV, then do it again live. Two new years. We counted both.
